At Altora, we understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations for tour packages, bike rides, adventure tours, hotel bookings, transportation, and other travel-related services offered by Altora.

General Cancellation Terms

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted through official communication channels of Altora.
  • Cancellation charges apply based on the date of cancellation and type of booking.
  • Refund eligibility depends on vendor policies, operational costs, permits, accommodations, and advance arrangements already made.

Bike Ride & Adventure Tour Cancellation

Bike rides and adventure trips involve advance operational planning including:

  • Route permits

Hotel, Flight & Transportation Cancellation

Cancellation policies for:

Additional service or processing charges may apply.

Partial Cancellation

If one or more travelers cancel from a group booking:

  • Remaining travelers may need to bear revised pricing.
  • Discounts or group rates may become invalid.
  • Hotel room sharing changes may increase costs.

Cancellation by Altora

Altora reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify trips due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Political unrest
  • Road blockages
  • Safety concerns
  • Government restrictions
  • Insufficient participation
  • Operational emergencies

In such situations, Altora may offer:

  • Alternative trip options
  • Rescheduling
  • Travel credit

Partial or full refund based on recoverable amounts

No-Show Policy

No refund will be issued in case of:

  • No-show at departure point
  • Late arrival causing missed transport
  • Failure to carry valid ID or required permits
  • Voluntary withdrawal during the trip

Unused services during the trip are non-refundable.

Force Majeure

Altora shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Floods
  • Landslides
  • Pandemic restrictions
  • Earthquakes
  • Political disturbances
  • Weather disruptions
  • Transportation strikes

Refunds in such situations will depend on recoveries from vendors and partners.

Cancellation Request Procedure

To request cancellation, customers must provide:

  • Booking reference/ID
  • Registered mobile number
  • Travel date
  • Reason for cancellation

Cancellation requests are considered valid only after confirmation from Altora.
